Which Franchise is Better?

ok, here is the question everyone is asking... Is 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' a better franchise than 'Friday the 13th'? and yes, I am posting this because today is Friday the 13th. let's get to it.

first off, I think A Nightmare on Elm Street is more fun to watch than Friday the 13th. It seems to me that Friday the 13th has the same plot every movie, which is Jason coming back and killing every teen at Camp Crystal Lake. In the end, he always 'dies', but just to come back in the next movie. It gets pretty boring. In A Nightmare on Elm Street, the plot is more diverse, and every movie is a little different form each other. In terms of villains, my favorite between Jason and Freddy is Freddy. He is such a funny character and he makes the movie even more terrifying. Robert Englund plays a phenomenal Freddy Krueger. There has been many different Jasons, so it's hard to pick which one is better.
